1.)What is your full name? Tiffany Linn Parker, although I wish my last name was hyphenated to Hoyt-Parker because I just can't get use to writing Parker and to be quite honest, I liked my maiden name better. I miss it.
2.) What do you like to do in your spare time? I like to go to the zoo, figure skate, feed pigeons, travel the world, and sleep. However, I seldom get to do any of those things. In my spare time I'm normally on the Internet looking up really random things like: conjoined twins, the tree man, or cranberry farming...
3.) Name two of your biggest vices: 1: Making jokes, having thoughts, and laughing at things that I shouldn't be laughing about and dragging others into it too. 2: Kitchen gadgets. I can't stop buying kitchen utensils, small appliances, and juice glasses. I'm obsessed.
4.) Name two of your biggest virtues: 1: I'm a really good listener and a vault of people's problems. People confide in me all the time because they know the information isn't going anywhere and I'm not going to judge them. 2: I am very self disciplined.
5.) What is your biggest regret, up to this point?: Dropping out of college. I'm so stupid!
6.) List 5 of your deepest, darkest desires (keeping it G-rated, of course): 1: To write a book that really helps people and makes them laugh at the same time and then becoming really famous from it and going on Ellen to talk about it! 2: To be on an episode of Saturday Night Live. 3: To retire by getting on an airplane and going from place to place to place, living all over the world until I die. 4: Living in a place where I can walk everywhere that I need to go and never have to drive a car again. 5: To be healthy and not have arthritis everywhere or a breakout every time any type of dairy enters my body.
7. What do you consider a perfect day?: Waking up late... in Europe, sharing breakfast with some birds, a trip to a zoo, shopping for a new pair of pajamas, and into bed by 6!
8. Name 3 songs that you know EVERY word to: 1: "I am the Walrus"- The Beatles 2: "Shoop" -Salt N Pepa 3: "Nasty Little Thoughts" -Stroke 9
9. What fictional character do you secretly envy and wish you could become? Elizabeth Bennet. She marries a freaking hottie who also happens to be loaded (£10,000 a year!) and when it came time to defend herself, she knew exactly what to say that would cut right to the bone.
10. What's the first thought that pops into your head when you see yourself in the mirror? "My face looks older"

Holy Cow This is Addicting!
So a friend at work was telling me a story last week about how boring her night was that they got online and played games where they made lists all night. Being a list maker myself, I didn't see this as boring at all! I saw this as an opportunity to for once play a game that I knew I'd excel in playing!
This site http://www.sporcle.com/games/category/ rocks my face off! You can name all the Crayola Crayon colors (I was exceptionally good at that one, but still missed a bunch), all of Tom Hank's movies (I didn't know as many as I thought I did), all the U.S. Presidents (got 'em all!), all the London tube stations (my keyboard was smoking on that one), and the list goes on and on and on!
I love it!

A Boring Labor Day
Our Labor Day Weekend was pretty uneventful, but we tried getting out and doing a few things.
Saturday morning we got up bright and early to go to First Monday in Canton to pick up a few Halloween decorations.
Unfortunately after all of our searching in the hot, hot sun, we only found one decoration worth purchasing. :o( BUT, Matt found a Philly Cheese Steak sandwich which he surely enjoyed.
MMMM!
Monday afternoon we hopped in the car with our kites and Tucker and headed out to the lake to fly our kites.Tucker was pretty anxious to arrive at our destination.
Matt preparing his kite.
My Penguin kite.
Ta-da!
Matt's kite is a little cooler than my penguin.
Tucker decided after 5 minutes of being there that he was tired of being on the ground, tired of the heat, tired of being ignored, and tired of me giving my attention to my kite. Therefore he began jumping on me over and over again until I crashed my kite.
As you can see I gave in and spent the rest of our time at the park holding Tucker.
This is Tucker after being in the sun for 5 minutes.
We were all happy to get back in the car and use the A/C again.

In the words of Nancy Kerrigan, "Why Me?"
Yesterday and today is one of "those" days.
On top of my hair getting completely butchered and my toes murdered by the nai nai at the nail place; at the grocery store last night no one would help me load water into my cart, therefore I threw my back out again and this time the pills do not feel like they're helping at all.
Then, my friend brings up to me the fact that my license plate, that mysteriously disappeared off my car a few days ago, was probably stolen by someone who is out racking up charges my account running tolls with it on their car. Lovely. I can't afford that! So all day I have been trying to get in touch of the right office to fix this problem, but they're all closing early for the holiday weekend! What the heck?! Can they do that? I bet they were lying. I mean, if the mail man has to deliver in sleet and snow, I think the tax offices should have to work until the normal 5 on Friday. No one cares though! I then tried finding different offices on my own computer, but found I couldn't because it has a virus and doesn't work anymore.
Someone has put a curse on me, I just know it.

Hairy Scary
I remember as a teenager going to get my haircut and how great it would look the day that the hair stylist fixed it, but when it came time for me to do it the next day, how horrible it would look. I remember getting so frustrated, pink in the face, and sweaty and how I'd start crying thus making all my hair stick to my face as I'd run to throw myself on the bed to hide my ugly head under my pillow. The world felt like it was ending and I'd never be able to leave the house again.
As I grew older, this stopped happening. If I got a bad haircut, I got a bad haircut. It was what it was and I just went with it. But that isn't the case today!
I went in for a "trim" at a local beauty shop here in Rowlett after work today- I have some wicked crazy split ends lately and although I have been working at growing out my hair, I knew getting them cut off was the responsible thing to do. I asked the lady to trim 2 inches off. (This would leave my hair just slightly above my chest.) When she took off my smock and I looked at the floor, I saw that the lady had cut off around 5 1/2 inches of my hair. It now is shoulder length and I hate it! I feel like a boy. I need a bag to wear over my head.

She's Back!
After 66 days of having no car, I once again have my car back. It took 66 days, 2 mechanic shops, 2 German specialists, and dozens of guesses to fix my car. The shop where I took it no longer accepts Volkswagens for repairs and the man who owns the shop now looks as if he has more gray hair then when this all started. Buuuuut it's back. It's clean. And I hope it keeps running.

Zaijian Olympics!
Well the Olympics are over and although I'm sad, I'm also very excited that they will next time be held in London, England! I love London!
To celebrate the passing of the flag, I arranged 2 British meals for our Olympic enjoyment.
English muffins...er crumpets, pastries, jam and tomatoes.
Chocolate pastries. Matt's favorite....not mine. I didn't partake of these.
I'm only half awake since waking up early on a Sunday is not a regular occurrence for me, but I managed to find my sweat jacket from England and sport that puppy for our entire meal.2nd: Dinner!
Here we have jacket potatoes, baked beans, peas (I should have smashed them but I was lazy) and steamed tomatoes. MMM!
Matt posing with his jacket potato...don't ask what he put in his. Blek!
What good meal doesn't come with dessert?
Farewell Olympics!
